Few days ago I submitted my dissertation proposal to my committee. It is about Parameter Estimation in Power Systems

Yasser: Yasser finished his Ph.D. studies in power systems with Dr. Lingling Fan at the University of South Florida (USF). Yasser obtained a masters degree in electrical engineering from USF in 2009 and prior to that a masters degree in aeronautical science and a bachelor degree in electrical engineering.

Research interests include:
* Power systems modeling
* Renewable energy delivery systems
* System identification
* Kalman Filtering
* Numerical techniques
